On Saturday, November 15, 2025, we invite you to gather with our global CSL community for Footprints of Love—a heartfelt online event honoring the lives, love, and gifts of our transgender siblings. Hosted by our own Rev. Christine Renée Monks, this sacred time of remembrance is offered in partnership with the CSL Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
Footprints of Love: Celebrating Their Lives, Their Love, and Their Gifts
Transgender Day of Remembrance invites us to pause, recognize, and honor the individuals whose lives were tragically lost this past year due to anti-trans violence. During this gathering, a memorial slideshow will uplift their names and their light.
Together, we will:
Celebrate their courage to live authentically and vulnerably
Hold space for grief, reflection, and love
Stand in unity with Trans People of Color and all those living at the margins
Affirm our commitment to a world that welcomes and includes all divine expressions
In addition to remembrance, Footprints of Love will shine a light on those who continue to offer their gifts and brilliance in challenging times. This event is a celebration of resilience as much as it is a call to compassion.
Rev. Christine Renée Monks is a minister, certified life coach, transgender activist, and public speaker. Since she transitioned from male to female in 2017, she has found her voice in ministry, choral singing, and trans advocacy. She sings with the Denver Feminist Chorus and speaks frequently on Trans topics to groups interested in supporting the transgender community more fully.
Her life’s noble purpose is to share her lifelong gender dysphoria with the world in an authentic and vulnerable manner to foster greater empathy and acceptance between the cisgender and transgender communities.
