Fresh Start Center has been serving families since 2007, offering food, resources, and support to help those facing hunger, poverty, and joblessness find a path to stability. Each year, their Thanksgiving outreach feeds hundreds of families—and with your help, they can reach even more in 2025.
You can also support the Fresh Start Center Turkey Drive, happening October 27 – November 21, by donating a small or large turkey for a family in need. This effort is generously hosted by Mountain View Electric Association and the Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce, with a goal of feeding over 500 families this Thanksgiving.
Turkey Drop-Off Locations:
MVEA — 11140 E. Woodmen Rd., Falcon
Christian Brothers — 7699 McLaughlin Rd., Peyton
Fresh Start Center — 7375 Adventure Way, Colorado Springs
Every can, every turkey, every gesture of generosity matters. Let’s come together as a spiritual community to help our neighbors find nourishment, hope, and warmth this Thanksgiving season.
