As we move through life, we often settle into our “ordinary skin,” moving through the day-to-day with comfort and familiarity. But just like a snake shedding its skin, we too are invited to outgrow old patterns as we evolve and awaken.
This month, our young people will explore what it means to release habits, stories, and behaviors that no longer serve us. Together, we’ll uncover new possibilities, welcome transformation, and embrace the authentic self emerging beneath the surface. This is our time to grow, heal, and step courageously into the newness of life!
Here’s what we’ll be exploring each week:
Week 1 – Surrendering to Newness
What does it take to let go? We’ll explore how surrendering isn’t giving up—it’s opening up to the next stage of growth.
Week 2 – From Crackly to Supple
Just like old skin becomes tight and brittle, certain habits can hold us back. We’ll look at how flexibility—of heart, mind, and spirit—supports transformation.
Week 3 – Slither and Slime to Sublime
Transformation can feel messy, uncomfortable, or strange. This week, we’ll discover how even the “slimy” parts of change can lead to something beautiful and spiritually profound.
December 24 – Candle Lighting Service
We join the community for this beloved tradition of light, reflection, and renewal.
Week 4 – No Service
A week of rest, integration, and holiday connection.

Teens ages 13–18 are invited to join us for a powerful weekend of community, connection, self-discovery, and spiritual empowerment. Winter Camp brings together CSL teens from across the country for workshops, music, sacred circles, nature time, and LOTS of fun.
