Welcome to June, a month filled with color, celebration, and the beautiful reminder that we are all expressions of the Divine. Our monthly theme is Taking Flight, a journey into understanding how our thoughts and feelings work in consciousness to create our experience through the Law of Mind. This is the creative process at work. When we align our inner world with truth, love, and clarity, we can heal and grow in powerful ways. Just like a bird trusting its wings, our youth will explore how their inner life helps them rise, expand, and take flight in their own spiritual journey.
This month’s lessons guide our kiddos through this creative process in simple, meaningful ways. Week one focuses on Supported by Spirit, helping them understand that they are never alone and always guided. Week two explores Breathing, showing them how breath centers and empowers them. Week three brings us into Perfect Balance, discovering harmony between mind, body, and spirit. Week four closes with Rest and Relaxation, teaching the sacredness of slowing down and restoring ourselves.
We also have some exciting events this month. On June 13th and 14th at 10 AM, Colorado Springs will host its annual Pride Fest at Acacia Park, with the parade beginning at 10 AM on the 14th. We will have a booth set up—please come visit us, connect, and join in the Pride celebration. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stand in love, joy, and community.
Later in the month, we invite you to our Abundance Celebration Dinner on June 15th at 6 PM, held at the Center for Spiritual Living Colorado Springs. Join us for a heart‑centered evening of connection, gratitude, and celebration. RSVPs are due by June 7th.
For this month’s at‑home spiritual practice, our affirmation is centered on Love:
“Today I bestow the essence of love upon everything. Everyone I meet shall be lovely to me. My soul meets the soul of the Universe in everyone. This love is a healing power touching everything with wholeness.”
Families are encouraged to speak this affirmation together, allowing its vibration to ripple through your home and daily life.
